Are you an experienced Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your land development career? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with strong 12d expertise to join our growing civil engineering team.
About the Role
As a Senior Civil Design Engineer in our Land Development team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil design solutions across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You will work collaboratively with project managers, drafters, and external stakeholders to deliver projects from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare civil designs for land development projects including roads, earthworks, stormwater drainage, sewer, and water reticulation
- Develop and review 12d models, drawings, and documentation
- Coordinate with surveyors, planners, architects, and local authorities
- Assist with design approvals and authority submissions
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and client requirements
- Support project delivery within agreed budgets and timelines
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in land development/civil designin Victoria
- Strong proficiency in 12d Model (12d) software
- Solid understanding of local design standards and authority requirements
- Experience delivering subdivision and infrastructure projects
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- RPEQ / CPEng (or working toward chartership)
- Water and sewer DAS accreditations
- Experience liaising directly with clients and councils
- Knowledge of construction processes and site experience
