With an established team structure already on board and plans to grow significantly over the coming years, the business is entering an exciting phase of expansion. As part of this expansion includes the opportunity to bring a Senior Hydraulic Engineer into the team.

About Your New Role

As the Senior Hydraulic Engineer, you will play a critical leadership role within the business, you will lead projects, manage clients, mentor junior engineers and help shape the future growth of the hydraulic division. This is a permanent, full time role based in an office in Paramatta.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading hydraulic design delivery across residential and commercial building projects




- Managing client relationships and attending design and coordination meetings
- Providing technical leadership across water supply, drainage, sanitary, stormwater, and fire-related hydraulic systems
- Coordinating with architects, builders, consultants, and internal engineering teams
- Overseeing construction-phase support and resolving site-based hydraulic issues
- Mentoring and developing junior and mid-level hydraulic engineers
- Reviewing designs for compliance, buildability, and efficiency
- Supporting business growth through robust client engagement and trusted delivery

About You

- Proven experience as a Hydraulic Engineer within building services consulting
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards, codes, and hydraulic design principles
- The ability to work autonomously while also mentoring junior staff
- Experience with hydraulic design software and CAD/Revit tools
- Registered design practitioner certification or willingness to obtain
