MundaMurra is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to lead the safe and successful delivery of mining water infrastructure, dewatering, and civil construction projects in the Pilbara.

Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership team, this role is responsible for estimating/quoting, project planning and delivery, client engagement, workforce leadership, commercial performance, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

About the Role

The Construction Manager will oversee multiple work fronts and provide leadership to Supervisors, Project Engineers, and site teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations.

The role will involve direct engagement with major mining clients and requires a strong understanding of mining operations and contractor management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of dewatering, and civil construction projects.
- Manage multiple crews and work fronts across site operations.
- Drive project performance against schedule, budget, quality, and safety targets.
- Oversee workforce planning, mobilisation, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Participate in tendering, commercial reviews, and business development opportunities.
- Review and approve risk assessments, SWMS, methodologies, and project documentation.
- Monitor project productivity and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and develop Supervisors, Project Engineers, and emerging leaders.
- Ensure compliance with client, legislative,



and company requirements.
- Demonstrated experience as a Construction Manager, Senior Supervisor with Water Infrastructure/Dewatering projects, including pipelines, borefields, pump installations, HDPE welding, and associated infrastructure.
- Current Rio Tinto Induction (essential).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work fronts simultaneously.
- Experience managing labour, plant, subcontractors, and project budgets.
- Strong understanding of mining safety systems and contractor management requirements.
- S26 - Statutory Supervisor Certification (WA)
- Current Australian Driver's License.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Highly Regarded

- Experience working on Rio Tinto, Roy Hill, BHP, or FMG operations.
- Civil construction, earthworks, and mining infrastructure project experience.
- Project delivery and commercial management experience.
- Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management qualifications.
