The Role

As an Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing the FISHBOWL brand across your remit. You’ll lead Restaurant Managers to achieve their targets and support their teams to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting To Your Operations Manager, You Will Oversee The Day‑to‑day Operations Of Your Area Of Restaurants, Working With Restaurant Team Members (who We Call ‘Mixers’), Restaurant Supervisors, Restaurant Managers, Operations Managers, And Head Office In Planning, Directing, And Coordinating Restaurant Operations To Deliver An Exceptional Customer Experience While Managing Financial Performance. You’ll Be Expected To

- Role model and reinforce FISHBOWL’s people and culture standards
- Coach and develop Restaurant Managers in their career development
- Ensure your restaurants are set up and ready to deliver excellent services
- Ensure the restaurants within your remit order the right amount of food/dry stock to be delivered to the customer as fresh as possible, with no wastage
- Be active in strategic planning and restaurant operations




- Support the expansion of new restaurants within your remit.

The Interview Process

- Initial pre‑screen call with our Recruitment team (20 min)
- 2nd round interview with one of our Operations Managers – diving deeper into your experience and the scope of the role (45 min)
- In‑store trial with one of our Operations Managers – getting on the mix with one of our teams (2 hours)
- Final interview – wrap up of your trial and the role (1 hour)
- Reference checks and move to offer.
