As we continue to grow, ADT is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Business Support Officer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in administration, coordination and business support while learning in a professional and supportive environment.

This position is based in Fyshwick, Canberra.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply for this position, candidates must have the legal right to live and work in Australia. Applicants are also required to either hold, or be eligible for, an Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 minimum).

About The Role

The Business Support Officer role sits within the Corporate Services team to provide day-to-day administrative and business support across the organisation. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of corporate functions, including assisting with record keeping, meeting and interview coordination,



correspondence, travel and accommodation bookings, invoice support, onboarding administration, event and operational support.

Working closely with teams within the organisation across Finance, and Business Development, this role reports to the Executive/Personal Assistant and will create excellent opportunity for development of administrative skills towards professional certification.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day administrative support across the business
- Assist with basic finance administration, including raising purchase orders
- Maintain records, documents and filing systems
- Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings
- Schedule meetings and interviews and provide related administrative support
- Assist with onboarding(AS2) & offboarding administration for new staff
- Support event coordination
- Help prepare correspondence, reports and other business documents
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to support business operations
- Undertake other reasonable duties as, and when, may be required.

About You

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail




- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
- Ability to manage time effectively and control multiple tasks
- A skilled and courteous approach when working with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Desirable

- Previous experience in administration, customer service, office support or a similar environment
- Exposure to basic finance administration
- Experience coordinating meetings, travel, events or calendars
- Familiarity with maintaining records, documents or filing systems
- Exposure to onboarding, recruitment support or general HR administration
- A proactive approach and willingness to apply initiative
- An interest in building a career in administration, business support or operations
- Experience in a professional services, technology, defence or government-related environment
