About the Position

An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Corporate/M&A; practice as part of the team's continued growth.

Working directly with leading partners, you will play a key role on high-value M&A; transactions. You will be given meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to take a lead role on transactions.





This position is ideally suited to a Senior Associate seeking more visibility, greater responsibility, and a clearer pathway to partnership than may be available in a larger team structure.

About You

You will be a high-performing Corporate lawyer who enjoys working on sophisticated transactions and is looking to accelerate your career within a premier practice.

Duties

In the role, you will:

- Advise on M&A; transactions
- Assist with transaction structuring and negotiations
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents
- Manage client relationships and work directly with key stakeholders
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers within the team
- Support business development and profile-building initiatives

Qualifications

We are seeking someone with:

- Approximately 5-9 years' PAE in Corporate/M&A;
- Experience gained within a recognised corporate transactions practice
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions and general corporate advisory matters
- Strong knowledge of the Corporations Act
- Strong academics and technical legal ability
