The Opportunity
As a Civil Maintenance Worker, you'll be part of a dedicatedteam responsible for delivering civil maintenance and constructionworks across the City. Reporting to the Team Leader Maintenance,you'll undertake a variety of tasks involving roads, footpaths,drainage, cycleways and associated infrastructure whilecontributing to high-quality service delivery and representing theCity professionally.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out maintenance and repair works on roads, footpaths,drainage infrastructure, cycleways and retaining walls.
- Complete paving, kerbing, concreting and other civilconstruction activities to a high standard.
- Safely operate and maintain a range of plant, machinery,equipment and hand tools.
- Install and maintain traffic management signage andbarriers while working safely and delivering excellent customerservice.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience operating plant and equipment within a civilconstruction or maintenance environment.
- Has practical experience in road construction, drainage,paving, concreting or kerbing works.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to workplace health,safety and secure work practices.
- Works collaboratively, communicates effectively and takespride in delivering quality work.
A current MR Driver's Licence andConstruction Induction (White) Card areessential.
