About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and refine internal tax models, standardise workflows, build process maps, and maintain system business rules to drive automation and compliance;
- Calculate quarterly and annual tax provisions, prepare tax notes for financial statements, handle option-level tax adjustments, and monitor Effective Tax Rates (ETRs);
- Prepare annual tax returns, activity statements, and tax payments for superannuation funds in strict adherence to statutory deadlines;
- Monitor and test regulatory/tax law changes impacting fund administration, drafting policies, and advising internal finance, operations, and external stakeholders; and
- Assist with new client onboarding, tender processes,



ATO reviews/audits, and liaise with external tax advisors and custody teams.

What We’re Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you bring solid technical grounding in superannuation tax operations alongside a solution-focused mindset:

- CA/CPA qualified (or near completion); Tax Agent registration is highly regarded;
- Solid understanding of Australian tax law, superannuation legislation, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Experience within fund administration, custody, or public practice (superannuation focus) is ideal;
- Strong capability in financial statement tax notes, option-level provision true-ups, and advanced Excel modeling; and
- Self-motivated, highly detailed, adaptable under competing deadlines, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across cross-functional finance and operations teams.
