Job Description:

Role : Program Test Manager

Experience : 5+Years

Location : Sydney

The successful applicant will own quality engineering across a complex, high-availability Web-based platform. This is a hands-on test management role where you will design the Test Strategy, build automation frameworks, and govern independent verification of AI-led Quality at scale. Other responsibilities include:

- Lead a team of approximately 15-20 Test Engineers across multiple platform teams
- Own Test Strategy End-to-End: Design and govern the full quality strategy for a PHP-based,



event-driven platform.
- Lead AI Quality Governance: Define how AI-generated code and tests are independently verified using adversarial red-teaming.
- Build Automation Frameworks: Architect and maintain frameworks using Playwright and Karate DSL with CI integration.
- Own CI/CD Quality Gates: Design and maintain blocking PR checks and automated rollback triggers in GitHub Actions.
- Contract Testing Architecture: Architect consumer-driven contract testing to catch schema drift at the PR level.
- Validate Event-Driven Flows: Design strategies for asynchronous architectures, focusing on ordering and idempotency.
- Embed Non-Functional Testing: Integrate performance, security (SAST/DAST), and resilience testing into the pipeline.
- Coach & Enable Teams: Champion Quality Assistance and coach developers to raise testing capabilities across the organization.Develop and manage the execution of Testing Strategies defining the testing, purposes, responsibilities, guidelines, schedule, for 42 impacted systems for the program.
- Provide test estimates for for the program
- Responsible for coordinating and scheduling all effort to ensure QA delivery
- Ensure appropriate planning and management of resources.




- Manage all stakeholders, within the program, Technology and the business teams
- Provide overall testing metrics/reporting for the program
- Ensure compliance with Testing ISO’s for all program test deliverables
- Work with Test Managers in other domains to plan integrated or E2E Testing
- Oversee all test execution activities including defect management troubleshooting and resolution
- Understanding of testing tools, unit testing, integration test scripting, manual and automated regression testing, and testing methodologies

Preferred :

- 5+ years experience in a Program Test Manager role. Proven experience managing the testing for large scale, multi year program testing.
- Experience in Automation Framework design and implementation
- Strong understanding of and experience leading teams using Github Actions, platforms such as REST API, and test tools such as Playwright, Karate & Custom Coding
- Expert in management of automated testing and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Expert stakeholder management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proactive, high attention to detail, with ability to meet aggressive deadlines with commitment to quality
- Effective Leadership, management of resources both on and offshore
- Team player, willing to help where and when needed
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and recommend resolutions
