About the Role

WorkPac is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Loader Operator to join a busy waste management operation. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is willing to assist across a variety of operational areas, not just operating machinery. The successful candidate will safely operate a front-end loader while supporting waste transfer, composting, recycling, and general site operations to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the facility.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Operate a front-end loader safely and efficiently throughout the site.
- Load, move, and stockpile waste and recyclable materials.
- Assist across transfer, composting, and baling operations as required.
- Conduct routine pre-start inspections and basic maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Complete general labouring, housekeeping, and operational support duties.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Assist team members with day-to-day site activities as required.
- Report equipment faults, hazards, and maintenance requirements promptly.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

- Previous experience operating a front-end loader or similar mobile plant (e.g. skid steer or bobcat).
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to assist with a variety of operational and labouring duties.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, hands-on environment.




- Looking for long-term, local employment.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening (DAS).
