About the Role
CJC Management is seeking Rail Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to support major rail infrastructure projects across Australia.
Working within a client-side advisory and project delivery environment, you will support government agencies, operators, contractors, designers and delivery partners through all stages of the project lifecycle. Opportunities exist for both mid-level and senior professionals, with responsibilities tailored to experience and capability.
You will contribute to projects spanning planning, procurement, design management, delivery, commissioning and operational handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage or support the delivery of major rail infrastructure projects and programmes.
- Coordinate project scope, programme, risk, budget and reporting requirements.
- Support procurement activities, tender evaluations and contract administration.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across government, operators, contractors and consultants.
- Participate in constructability reviews, staging assessments and delivery planning.
- Support governance,
project controls and reporting frameworks.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and consultants.
- Contribute to risk management and mitigation planning.
- Support safe, efficient and successful project outcomes.
- Senior-level candidates will provide project leadership, mentoring and client advisory services.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Rail, transport or major infrastructure project experience.
- Experience within client-side, advisory, contractor or consultancy environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Understanding of project controls, governance, programme and risk management.
- Senior candidates will demonstrate experience leading complex rail projects and managing client relationships.
- Professional accreditation such as AIPM or Engineers Australia is advantageous.
