We're a growing modular and prefabricated construction business delivering accommodation and fit-out solutions for large-scale international projects. We're looking for a seasoned Engineering Lead to be the core technical authority across our work.

You'll translate client requirements into practical, end-to-end solutions and oversee every stage — from design and process planning through to production and in office installation — driving quality, efficiency and standardisation throughout. Based in Beijing, you'll report to our Design & Delivery Director and work as part of one unified Australia–China design and delivery team.

What you'll be doing:

- Leading the engineering and technical delivery of modular and prefabricated building projects
- Translating client requirements into practical, end-to-end design and construction solutions
- Overseeing all stages: design, process planning, production and on-site installation
- Driving product development and technical integration across projects
- Owning quality control to ensure builds meet AS/NZS standards and certification requirements
- Promoting process optimisation, standardisation and cost control across the project lifecycle
- Working closely with the Australian studio as one unified team, and mentoring the engineering team

What you'll bring:





- 15+ years' experience in modular construction and prefabricated interior systems
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related); PMP certification highly regarded
- Proven expertise across engineering management, product development and quality control
- Track record leading major modular projects from design through to installation
- Working knowledge of AS/NZS standards and compliance requirements
- Fluent Mandarin and English
