Nestled in Moonah, Tasmania, The Albert Brewery is a locally owned, independent producer of mainstream premium lagers. We're a small, passionate team who take pride in doing things properly — quality ingredients, traditional methods, and a genuine connection to the Tasmanian community.

We're growing, and we're looking for an experienced brewer to grow with us.

About the role

This is a hands-on, full-time brewing position working closely with our small team across all aspects of production — from grain through to packaging, kegging and beyond. You'll play a central role in maintaining the quality and consistency that defines our lagers and have real input into how we continue to develop.

What you'll bring

- At least 3 years of practical brewing experience
- A solid understanding of brewing processes and equipment end-to-end
- A strong track record in quality control and consistency
- Experience with production planning and logistics
- Methodical problem-solving skills and genuine attention to detail




- A passion for traditional lager — you don't have to love it, but it helps if you do
- Formal brewing qualifications are welcome but not required — experience speaks for itself
- Experience with a CODI canning line is a bonus
- A current forklift licence is preferred but not essential
