Sands Fridge Lines is seeking experienced and qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our Workshop Team based in Forrestfield.

This hands-on role is responsible for the proactive and reactive maintenance of our extensive fleet, including HR, HC and MC vehicles, trailers and refrigerated equipment. Working alongside a skilled and supportive workshop team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet remains safe, compliant and operational, helping us continue to deliver exceptional service across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

- Performing scheduled servicing, maintenance and inspections across the fleet
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
- Conducting preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime
- Repairing and maintaining trailing equipment and refrigerated assets
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records
- Ordering and sourcing mechanical parts as required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Contributing to a clean, organised and safe workshop environment





Requirements About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Australian recognised Trade Qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Mobile Plant or similar
- Minimum 4 years' post-trade experience working on heavy vehicles
- Experience servicing and repairing trailers and associated equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
- Current and valid Driver's Licence (HR licence highly desirable)
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
