We're looking for a Business Systems Functional Consultant to join our IT team and play a key role in the ongoing optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and all the integrated systems to BC.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with ERP or Business Analyst experience who wants to deepen their expertise in Microsoft Business Central while working across finance, retail, inventory, logistics and eCommerce.

About the Role

Reporting to the IT Manager, you'll work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and our Microsoft implementation partner to ensure Business Central continues to evolve to meet the needs of our business.

You'll be involved in every stage of the solution lifecycle from gathering requirements and configuring the system through to testing, user support and continuous improvement.

You are the type who is hungry to learn and rapidly solve problems, with A.I. in your toolkit and the know how to leverage automation to solve a problem before escalating it; you are not someone who waits for developers to bring to life solutions.

No two days will be the same.

What You'll Be Doing

- Support the ongoing optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, as well as the rest of the tech stack Shopify, Snowflake, POS
- Work with stakeholders to understand business challenges and document requirements
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications
- Participate in Business Central release updates and feature testing




- Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Investigate and resolve system issues with internal teams and external partners
- Assist with integrations between Business Central and connected systems
- Create and maintain functional documentation
- Provide day-to-day support to Business Central users across our national business
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system capability

About You

- Experience as a Business Analyst, ERP Analyst or Functional Consultant
- Exposure to ERP platforms such as Microsoft Business Central, Dynamics NAV, SAP, Oracle, MYOB Advanced or similar
- Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills
- Experience supporting finance, retail, inventory or operational business processes
- SQL knowledge and an understanding of database concepts
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- A passion for continuous learning and improving business systems
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will be highly regarded but isn't essential
