About the rolePermanent full time opportunity to provide expert-level leadership, professional governance, development and supervision for Social Work across Metro North Mental Health (MNMH), working collaboratively with service-line Professional Leads to strengthen professional standards and workforce capability. Lead the development and implementation of innovative, evidence-informed models of care through strategic partnerships, research and contemporary service design. As a member of the MNMH Allied Health Leadership Team and the MNMH-RBWH Senior Leadership Team, lead service improvement and support workforce recruitment, retention and performance to deliver high-quality care and respond effectively to emerging service and system pressures.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:Professionally lead and direct the delivery of contemporary, innovative and evidence-based Social Work models of service delivery that are effective and efficient within a complex public health care setting.Provide expert, informed and timely management and authoritative counsel, policy advice and processes to the MNMH Social Work Professional Leads, MNMH Director of Allied Health, MNMH-RBWH Senior Leadership Team, and MNMH Senior Executive Leadership Team on strategic Social Work-related issues including skilled practice, workforce planning, training and professional development, management, research, policy development and education.Provide professional and operational leadership, strategic direction, consultancy, advocacy and evaluation to ensure the Social Work workforce remain credentialed to provide quality, safe, complex client care across the MNMH directorate in collaboration with the Social Work Professional Leads of MNMH service-lines,
