About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with Theatre/PACU experience to join a dynamic healthcare team in Darwin, Northern Territory. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for nurses looking to gain valuable experience while enjoying the unique lifestyle of the Top End.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality post-anaesthetic care in PACU
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from surgery
- Manage airway, pain, and post-operative complications
- Work collaboratively with surgical and anaesthetic teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Essential Criteria
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated experience in Theatre and PACU
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Current BLS/ALS certification (desirable)
