The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on manufacturing exposure with digital technology, CAD design, 3D scanning, and CNC machining support.

Working within our Pitching / Slot Generation Office, you'll help convert specialty-built radiator core geometry into precise digital manufacturing data. Acting as a key link between our Machining teams, you'll support the development of complex cooling products.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has strong attention to detail, and is interested in developing a career in advanced manufacturing, machining, CAD, and CNC programming.

What You'll Be Doing

- Supporting the development and manufacture of PWR's specialty-built radiator cores

- Using 3D scanning technology, CAD software, and CNC programming tools





- Creating and refining digital models and manufacturing data

- Generating header plate designs within CAD assemblies

- Verifying digital designs against engineering drawings and tolerances

- Supporting CNC machining operations, including multi-axis machining processes

- Assisting with machine setup, tooling preparation, and production activities

- Performing inspections and quality checks on manufactured components

- Identifying and resolving discrepancies between physical parts and digital models

- Collaborating closely with Engineering, Core Build, and Machining teams

- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work workplace

About You

We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and build a long-term career in manufacturing and machining.

You may have:

- A mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing or engineering

- Experience reading technical drawings and specifications

- Exposure to CAD software such as SolidWorks or Mastercam (highly regarded)

- An understanding of CNC machining principles or manufacturing processes

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
