Centre Director | Fast and Curious Early Learning Centre - Old Toongabbie

Fast and Curious Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced, capable and motivated Centre Director to lead our Old Toongabbie service.

This is an opportunity for a strong early childhood leader who wants genuine ownership of their centre, direct access to the Approved Provider and the ability to influence the service's culture, educational direction and ongoing growth.

We are looking for a leader who can build a positive and accountable team, maintain high standards of education and care, develop trusted relationships with families and take an active role in growing a successful service.

The role

As Centre Director, you will take responsibility for the leadership, culture,



quality and day-to-day performance of the service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- leading, coaching and supporting the educator team
- creating a positive, professional and accountable workplace culture
- maintaining a strong and visible commitment to child safety
- ensuring the service operates in accordance with the National Quality Framework and relevant regulatory requirements
- building genuine relationships with children and families
- confidently managing family enquiries, tours and enrolment conversations
- supporting sustainable occupancy growth and strong family retention
- overseeing staffing, rostering and workforce planning
- working closely with the Educational Leader to support high-quality educational programs and practice
- managing staff performance, development and professional expectations
- identifying opportunities to strengthen the centres operations, culture and family experience; and
- working closely with the Approved Provider on centre priorities and ongoing improvement

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- an approved Diploma or higher early childhood qualification
- previous experience in a Centre Director,



Centre Manager, Assistant Director or comparable leadership position
- strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and EYLF
- demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing educators
- confidence in managing performance and difficult conversations professionally
- robust communication and relationship-building skills
- the ability to engage prospective families and confidently lead centre tours
- sound organisational, operational and workforce-planning capability
- initiative, good judgement and a genuine sense of ownership
- a warm and professional leadership style; and
- an understanding that child safety, quality, team culture, family experience and the sustainable operation of the centre are all essential to successful leadership
