The Australian Government is seeking expressions of interest for appointment as the Independent National Security Legislation Monitor (INSLM). The INSLM will independently review Australia’s national security and counter-terrorism laws, focusing on rights protections and proportionality.

The role can be full-time or part time and is based in Canberra. Applicants must hold or be able to obtain a Positive Vetting or Top Secret-Privileged Access security clearance, and will serve a term of up to 3
