Karara Mining Limited (KML) is an Ansteel Group company formed as a joint venture with Gindalbie Metals Limited. Ansteel is one of the largest iron ore producers and steel makers in China. Located 200km south-east of Geraldton, Western Australia, Karara is the largest mining operation and the first major magnetite mine in the Mid-West. It produces a premium, high-grade concentrate product for export to steelmakers.

The opportunity

We have available opportunities for experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisors - leading teams of Technicians in maintaining site assets to the highest operational standards. You will apply strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to optimise equipment performance, ensure reliability, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance efficiency and plant output.

This position operates on an 8 days on and 6 days off / 7 nights on and 7 days off roster.

To be successful in the role, the following is essential:

- Electrical Instrumentation Ticket
- Robust supervision experience leading a team
- Proven experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within mining and mineral processing environment
- Sound knowledge of maintenance management, strategy development and implementation




- Demonstrated ability to develop, plan and execute maintenance activities in a deadline driven environment

Key Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all tasks
- Lead a team of trades personnel to deliver planned and reactive maintenance in line with site schedules and priorities
- Manage daily work allocation, resource use, and equipment readiness through effective planning and SAP work management
- Conduct fault finding, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions to improve equipment reliability
- Oversee shutdown and outage works, ensuring compliance with WHS, site standards, and maintenance procedures
