Safety, teamwork and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for an experienced Afternoon Shift Corrugator Operator to join our high-performing production team.
The Opportunity
As an Afternoon Shift Corrugator Operator, you will play a key role in the secure and efficient operation of our corrugator equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality corrugated board that consistently meets customer specifications and production requirements.
Working within a collaborative and supportive team environment, you will contribute to operational performance, product quality, waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Safely operate corrugator equipment to achieve production schedules and performance targets.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimise quality, speed and output.
- Complete quality inspections and checks to ensure products meet customer specifications and Visy standards.
- Identify and resolve operational issues to minimise downtime and reduce waste.
- Support preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting and machine changeovers.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and actively contribute to 5S initiatives.
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing productivity, quality and operational efficiency.

You are a reliable, safety-conscious and motivated manufacturing professional who takes pride in producing quality products and working as part of a team.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace health, safety and quality.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to production targets and deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
