About the role

To staff our new premises in Yatala the company has exciting opportunities for experienced production assemblers to join our team. You will be involved in the assembly of switchboards and control panels, including component fit‑out, panel preparation, electrical wiring and busbar processing. A key part of this role will include fitting of electrical busbar, switchgear and components, so previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment will be highly regarded. You will work from workshop drawings, layouts and build instructions to complete work safely, neatly and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

- Assemble switchboards and control panels
- Fit switchgear, components and hardware to switchboards
- Measure, mark out and prepare panels and busbar
- Read and follow workshop drawings, layouts and build instructions
- Prepare parts, tools and materials for production




- Installation of panel wiring where required
- Check work for quality, accuracy and presentation
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
- Follow production, quality and safety procedures
- Supporting junior assemblers where required

About you

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

- Previous experience in switchboard assembly, control panel assembly, electrical wiring, busbar processing or similar production assembly
- Experience with busbar bending, cutting, punching, drilling or preparation
- Good hands‑on skills with tools and workshop equipment
- Ability to read and follow workshop drawings, electrical schematics, layouts or build instructions
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing neat, quality work
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A safety‑focused approach
- Ability to travel and work at customer sites as required.
- Full Australian working rights (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa).
- Experience in an existing switchboard manufacturing facility
- Experience using busbar processing equipment
- Electrical wiring experience
- Experience with copper, din rail, ducting or component fit‑out
- Ability to mentor or guide junior staff
- Workshop, factory, or production experience
- Forklift licence or White Card
