Maintenance Fitter HRCheck Aust Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia

Our client is looking for a permanent Mechanical Fitter to join a busy manufacturing site in Yatala, Gold Coast on day shift.

This is a hands‑on maintenance role for people who know their way around breakdowns, preventative maintenance, repairs and keeping production moving.

What you’ll be doing

Breakdown response

Preventative maintenance

Fault finding and repairs

Supporting plant reliability and uptime

What you’ll bring

Manufacturing maintenance experience (highly desirable)

Experience with conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics and production machinery

Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills

What’s on offer

Paying $56+ per hour + super + overtime (when available)

Tool allowance, shift loadings where applicable, OT and EBA conditions
