The Role

An opportunity has become available for several Human Resource Advisors to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

- Provide practical advice and guidance to internal clients on a broad range of contemporary human resource management issues
- Manage sensitive, high-level information and knowledge in line with departmental and government policy, particularly the confidentiality and privacy of employee information
- Effectively promote, monitor, track and report on implementation of strategic HR programs to ensure key milestones and deliverables are met within agreed timeframes
- Assist with the management of employment and industrial relations issues including grievances, complaints, performance management processes, and other human resource matters

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field would be well regarded
- Declaration of responsible discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

- Permanent full time and temporary full time (one permanent position and one temporary position, up to 12 months with possibility of extension)
- Part-time/flexible may be considered
- Base salary ranging from $108,735 - $118,307 per annum

The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) team support Divisions and Directorates within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS). The HRBP team provide a link to the various HR functions available within the Directorate of Human Resource Services, GCHHS and assist in the development of a high performing, customer and solution focussed team culture through human resource consultation, advice and support. The HRBP team also provide assistance in creation and implementation of people management strategies to assist all managers and leaders.
