Our client, a leading organisation within the resources sector, is seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator - Civil in Pinjarra Western Australia.
This is an exciting prospect to play a key role in a significant project with a long term construction program, working within a collaborative, safety-focused and high-performing project team.
The civil scope includes large-scale bulk earthworks, major excavations, as well as significant excavations associated with suspended slab construction within the processing plant. Additional infrastructure works include haul roads, drainage and borrow pit development.
About the Role
Reporting into the project leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating on-site civil construction activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements, specifically with haul roads, drainage and associated mining infrastructure.
You will act as the key interface between contractors, project teams and stakeholders to support successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee civil construction activities across the project site
- Plan and schedule works to align with project milestones and construction programs
- Manage interfaces between contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Support delivery of bulk earthworks, excavations, concrete and associated infrastructure works
- Monitor site safety performance and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements
- Drive quality assurance processes and ensure works meet project specifications and standards
- Identify and resolve construction issues to minimise delays and maintain project progress
- Foster strong working relationships across all project stakeholders
About You
- Demonstrated experience in civil construction coordination within large-scale resources, infrastructure or industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of bulk earthworks, major excavations and concrete construction activities Experience coordinating contractors and multiple work fronts in complex project environments
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
- A strong commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement
- The ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced project environment
