Bring your expertise in garment alterations and repairs to one of Sydney's most recognised 5-star hotels. Silk Hospitality is seeking an experienced Part-time Seamstress to join our team at Hilton Sydney , supporting the presentation of hotel uniforms to the highest standard.

What You'll Be Doing Your day may include:

- Performing qualified alterations, repairs and adjustments to hotel uniforms.
- Measuring, fitting and altering garments to ensure the highest standard of fit and presentation.
- Repairing damaged uniforms, including hems, seams, zips, buttons and other garment components.
- Operating industrial sewing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspecting garments to ensure quality workmanship and consistency.
- Maintaining an organised, clean and safe work area.
- Managing alterations and repairs within required timeframes while maintaining exceptional quality.





You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have

- Previous experience as a Seamstress, Tailor or Clothing Alterations Specialist.
- Experience working with commercial uniforms or high-volume garment alterations is highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and fabric handling.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude.
- Current Australian working rights.
