The Fremantle Leisure Centre is looking for enthusiastic, energetic and suitably qualified group fitness instructors. The suitable candidate will join a tight team to help the community and centre members achieve their fitness goals and provide a supportive environment for the community.
Please list all your qualifications in your application. The centre currently runs a combination of freestyle HIIT classes, yoga, pilates, Zumba, Aqua and Les Mills.
The position will be offered on a casual basis and will work a range of hours from mornings,
evenings and weekends. The instructors will also be added to an extensive group for covers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to organise and monitor groups of people
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Regularly available at different timeslots for covers and classes
To be considered for this position, you will need
- CPR and First Aid accreditations
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (issued within the past 6 months)
- Cert 3 in Fitness
Applicants must be flexible and be able to work outside of normal business hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Applicants are asked to outline their availability (including any restrictions) in their cover letter and flexibility to cover classes at short notice.
