PCYC is one of WA’s leading youth organisations, operating in partnership with WA Police, communities, and government to empower young people across the state.

Our established safeSPACE Connect program provides one-to-one case management support to young people with the aim of fostering resilience, building confidence and achieving goals specific to them. The team supports young people from Rockingham to Midland, with this role based in Midland and providing place-based support within the broader surrounds of the City of Swan

About the role:
Reporting directly to the Program Lead, the Case Worker will:

- Support the delivery and ongoing development of the safeSPACE Connect program
- Provide person-centred, strengths-based case management to young people with diverse and complex needs
- Work collaboratively with local services, schools, and community stakeholders
- Review and reflect on program outcomes so we can keep improving.

About you:

- Experience in working with young people and their families.
- A minimum Cert IV in Youth/Community or related areas.
- Experience in one-to-one casework supporting young people.
- Knowledge and practice in trauma-informed, strengths-based and culturally protected approaches
- Understands the social, cultural and economic issues young people face.
- Ability to practice to the standards of WA Youth Work Code of Ethics
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months) & Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Possess a Driver’s License as driving is a requirement of the role.
