Tripod Farmers is a leading commercial salad producer based in Bacchus Marsh. We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team.
This is a hands-on role responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment essential to our farming operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and repair tractors, forklifts, trucks and other farm machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Maintain accurate service records and report maintenance requirements.
- Work closely with the farm and maintenance teams to keep equipment operating safely and reliably.
- Follow all Work Health and Safety procedures.
About You:
- Relevant Diesel Mechanic qualification.
- Experience working on agricultural machinery, heavy vehicles or mobile plant (highly regarded).
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
- Passionate about your trade, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver's licence (Heavy Vehicle Licence desirable).
