About the Role
Join a growing ASX-listed uranium developer advancing one of Australia's most significant uranium projects. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and responsible resource development, the organisation is entering an exciting phase of project delivery and is seeking an experienced procurement professional to support key capital project activities.
As the Senior Procurement Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for major project packages, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services. Working closely with engineering and project teams, you will play a critical role in delivering procurement outcomes that align with project objectives, commercial requirements, and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle for project materials, equipment, and services.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies and prepare RFQ, RFP, and RFT tender packages.
- Conduct commercial evaluations, supplier prequalification, and bid analysis.
- Negotiate and administer supplier contracts while ensuring compliance with project and corporate governance requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and expediting activities to minimise project risks.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure technical and commercial requirements are achieved.
- Support contract administration, variation management, claims resolution, and supplier relationship management.
About You
- 8–10 years' procurement experience supporting major capital projects within the mining, resources, energy, or EPC/EPCM sectors.
- Demonstrated experience procuring long-lead equipment, bulk materials, and engineering or construction services.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and commercial risk.
- The ability to interpret technical specifications and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
