We offer specialised services in alcohol and other drug treatment, mental health, and wellbeing, through counselling, group support, residential rehabilitation, and education—reaching communities across the Perth metro, Peel, South West, and Great Southern regions.

About the Role

We are seeking Psychologists with strong clinical knowledge and experience to join Palmerston to deliver clinical assessments, interventions, and support the Counsellors in the client management of clients across a range of teams and settings delivering AOD supports. In this role, you will provide evidence based, culturally secure interventions, education, and support to individuals, families, and the broader community, making a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by substance use.

What We’re Looking For





You’re more than your qualifications—you’re someone who brings heart, empathy, professionalism and a robust commitment to supporting clients in improving their wellbeing. The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria:

- Bachelor’s degree in psychology.

- Full registration (or eligibility for full registration) without conditions as a Registered or Provisionally Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).

- Experience in, or exposure to, working with Alcohol and Other Drugs (and comorbid) presentations.

- Demonstrated proficiency in psychological assessment, individual and group therapy and interview techniques with relevant client groups.

- Facilitate and deliver internal training to staff, building capability and ensuring consistent understanding and application of program models, policies, and best practice.
