We are seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Perth team. In this role, you will lead the delivery of technically robust mechanical engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects, spanning design, optimisation and upgrades.

You will act as a technical expert within multidisciplinary teams, providing leadership through concept development, detailed design, engineering review, and project execution. Your ability to solve complex engineering challenges, manage stakeholders, and drive high-quality project outcomes will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver mechanical design packages: calculations, reports, specifications, drawing inputs

- Design and review equipment and systems for mining and heavy industrial environments

- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, client specifications and statutory requirements

- Coordinate interfaces across SMP, Structural, Electrical and Design/Drafting teams

- Conduct design reviews, checking and verification prior to issue

- Provide construction support: RFIs, site queries and design clarifications





- Identify risks early and drive practical, constructable solution

Skills & Experience (Essential)

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

- 8+ years’ mechanical engineering experience in mining/heavy industrial projects

- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and documentation

- Confident communicator with proven multi-discipline coordination experience

- Strong focus on safety in design and quality deliverables

- Australian working rights

- Experience with common mechanical design/analysis tools (as applicable to the role)

- Chartered status (CPEng / NER) or working toward (desirable)

- Site experience supporting construction and commissioning (desirable)
