Tax Analyst

We have created this role to support our Tax Manager in keeping tax compliance, provisioning and reporting accurately and on time across the Group, building your expertise across income tax, GST, payroll tax and property specific complexity, with an experienced team around you.

The Role

You support the accuracy and timeliness of our tax compliance, provisioning, and reporting.

- Prepare and lodge income tax returns, BAS and IAS across the Group
- Maintain tax schedules and workpapers that hold up under scrutiny
- Track and reconcile payroll tax and workcover obligations by jurisdiction
- Help assess stamp duty and land tax positions as property deals progress




- Calculate current and deferred tax provisions each reporting cycle
- Support assessment of tax implications for new transactions across the Group
- Respond to ATO and auditor requests with transparent, ready documentation

Who We're Looking For

You take real pride in precision and stay calm under a deadline. You notice what does not add up, and you do not let it sit.

- CA or CPA qualified, or close to completing
- 2+ years in a tax focused practice or corporate role
- Confident across income tax, GST, payroll tax and stamp duty
- Advanced Excel, building workpapers others can follow
- Comfortable translating technical detail into plain language

And the non-negotiables, you hold yourself to a standard of accuracy before anyone asks you to; you stay curious about how the pieces fit together, and you communicate clearly with people who are not tax specialists.
