About the opportunity We're looking for a technically strong Senior Manager to join a high-performing Private Business Tax Advisory team in Brisbane. Reporting directly to a highly regarded tax Partner with an impressive market profile, this role offers a clear and supported pathway to Partnership.

This is not a compliance-heavy role: it's a strategic, client-facing position where you will work with a diverse portfolio of large privately-owned businesses and high-net-worth individuals, helping them navigate complex tax challenges across the full business lifecycle.

What you'll be doing

- Managing a portfolio of complex, privately-owned businesses and their principals, with collaboration across national practice groups
- Delivering proactive,



practical tax and business advisory solutions tailored to each client's commercial and personal goals
- Designing and implementing commercial structures to support business growth, succession, and exit planning
- Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of Associates and Senior Associates
- Driving business development activity to grow your own portfolio and deepen your area of specialisation

What you'll bring

- CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent industry accreditation)
- Strong Australian tax technical knowledge, with solid grounding in private business and high-net-worth advisory
- Experience leading the delivery of complex, strategic engagements with confidence and quality
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust at senior stakeholder levels
- Genuine people leadership capability and a track record of developing others
