CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Estimator for our client, a well-established civil construction contractor based in Brisbane’s Bayside, delivering a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects.

This role will suit a hands-on Estimator with strong experience in tender preparation, cost planning, and commercial estimating, ideally within a civil construction environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to interpret project documentation, assess costs, and support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and competitive tender submissions for civil construction projects
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and tender documentation
- Complete detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis across labour, materials, plant, and subcontractor packages
- Assess construction methodologies, project risks, and commercial considerations
- Source, review, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Manage multiple tenders simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
- Provide cost planning support and commercial insights to project delivery teams
- Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Maintain accurate estimating records and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Proven experience as an Estimator, Senior Estimator, or Quantity Surveyor within the civil construction industry
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, costs, and project delivery processes
- Experience across earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities, subdivisions,



or infrastructure projects
- Ability to confidently interpret technical drawings, plans, specifications, and scopes of work
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Robust communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
