Our client supports some of Australia's most critical infrastructure across the rail, transport, power, renewables, defence and resources sectors, delivering essential maintenance services that keep the country moving.

About the Role
Due to increased maintenance activity across operational and stabled rolling stock, multiple positions are available supporting our client rail maintenance operations. You'll play an important role in ensuring rolling stock is maintained safely, efficiently and ready for service.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting live running trains and preparing rolling stock for revenue service
- Performing scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs
- Fault finding and diagnostic work across mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Maintaining rolling stock across various storage and maintenance locations
- Working safely while maintaining the highest quality standards

This role commences on day shift, averaging 38 hours per week. Initial training will be provided.

About You
We're looking for motivated and safety-focused tradespeople who enjoy hands-on work and problem solving.

You'll ideally have:

- Australian-recognised Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification with Certificate of Proficiency
- Full Australian working rights




- Robust fault-finding and diagnostic experience
- Experience within maintenance environments
- Rolling stock or locomotive experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- Forklift and/or Overhead Crane Licence (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Pride in delivering quality workmanship and customer service
