About the opportunity
Our client is a high-profile global brand with one of Australia’s largest and most successful loyalty programs. With a strong data-driven culture and continued investment in its marketing and analytics capability, they are looking for a Campaign Analyst to join their team.
This role will support the end-to-end delivery of targeted customer campaigns. You will use customer and transactional data to identify the right audiences, build campaign segments and provide commercially focused insights to marketing and product stakeholders.
The position would suit an early-career campaign or marketing analytics professional with approximately two to three years of experience, strong SQL skills and the confidence to work closely with non-technical stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct pre-campaign analysis to identify relevant customer audiences and campaign opportunities.
- Extract, manipulate and merge large volumes of customer and transactional data using SQL.
- Build target lists, customer segments and campaign selections based on defined business requirements.
- Support campaign execution across multiple customer channels.
- Apply business logic, customer insights and propensity models to improve targeting.
- Monitor customer engagement and support post-campaign performance analysis.
- Assist with control groups, test-and-learn activity and campaign quality assurance.
- Translate campaign data into clear recommendations for marketing, product and commercial stakeholders.
- Manage customer data carefully and follow established campaign governance processes.
- Balance multiple campaign requests and priorities across different stakeholders.
Skills and experience
- At least two to three years of experience in campaign analytics, marketing analytics, customer analytics or a similar data-focused role.
- Strong SQL skills, including experience querying, manipulating and merging large customer datasets.
- Experience working with customer segmentation, campaign targeting or behavioural and transactional data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply commercial and business logic.
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with marketing teams and explain technical information clearly.
- Robust organisation and time-management skills.
- A proactive, collaborative and positive approach.
Highly regarded
- Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud or similar campaign platforms.
- Experience with Aprimo.
- Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI or other data visualisation tools.
- Exposure to propensity modelling, experimental design, control groups or test-and-learn strategies.
- Experience with campaign quality assurance processes.
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts such as cookies, tags and ad serving.
