C3Talent has partnered with a well-established and highly regarded organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Services Officer to join their close-knit and collaborative payroll team.
Reporting to the Payroll Services Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering payroll across multiple entities. This is an excellent opportunity to secure an immediate start on a contract through to December 2026 within a supportive and team-focused environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Payroll Services Manager, you will play a key role in delivering an accurate and efficient payroll service while providing exceptional support to employees and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include -
- End-to-end payroll processing.
- Maintaining payroll records and employee data.
- Processing leave, payroll adjustments and reconciliations.
- Responding to payroll enquiries and interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Preparing payroll reports and maintaining payroll documentation.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
About You
You'll be joining a collaborative and supportive payroll team where accuracy, customer service and teamwork are highly valued. You will be proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous end-to-end payroll experience.
- Experience using payroll systems (Ascender experience highly regarded).
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Experience interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- A cooperative approach and willingness to contribute to a high-performing team.
