Packaging Machine Operators and Forklift Operators

Casual rates from $40.31 per hour, plus shift loadings and overtime

Bundaberg Sugar is seeking several experienced Packaging Machine and Forklift Operators to join our Packaging Plant in East Bundaberg.

These are casual positions with the opportunity to transition to permanent full-time employment.

What we offer

- Casual base rate of $40.31 per hour
- Approximately $45–$47 per hour for shift work
- Approximately $60–$80 per hour for overtime
- A structured four-week rotating roster
- Opportunities for permanent full-time employment

The role

Depending on the position, you will operate packaging machinery or forklifts, undertake quality checks, load and unload trucks,



or move and stack stock safely and efficiently.

The roster includes 8-hour and 12-hour day, afternoon and night shifts, including two weekends in every four.

What you’ll need

- Experience operating packaging machinery or forklifts in a production, manufacturing or warehouse workplace
- Current Forklift High Risk Work Licence (LF) for Forklift Operator positions
- Ability to work safely and meet production requirements
- Current driver’s licence
- Availability for rotating shift work
