As a key member of our Senior Management team and reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the GM of Operations (VIC) is a strategic leadership position designed for someone who doesn’t just understand the aged care sector — but lives and breathes it.

In This Role, You Will Be

- Acting as an effective support conduit between on‑site Residential Managers, other General Managers and Support Service functions.
- Leading a team of Residential Managers and supporting them to achieve their goals.
- Leading change across your sites.
- Driving residential compliance such as Strengthened Standards, WHS and Food Safety Standards.
- Leading projects/Support sites throughout the regions.
- Consistently demonstrating and role‑modeling a high performance, outcome‑focused approach.
- Maximising occupancy levels.
- Maximising revenue (AN-ACC) and managing costs.
- Setting and sustaining a strong, values‑led culture across a multisite portfolio.




- Assisting with commissioning new residential aged care homes and/or integrating acquired sites into an existing portfolio.
- Developing and maintaining an effective, empowered and efficient team to meet the key result areas of the For Purpose Aged Care strategic plan.

What You Will Bring To This Role

- Experience in a similar multi‑site role.
- Residential Management experience in the aged care industry and familiarity with the regulatory framework.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues impacting the aged care sector.
- Highly developed leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to train, mentor and coach staff.
- Strong planning, time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
- High level interpersonal, written, presentation and negotiation skills including ability to liaise and negotiate with key stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to embrace technology.
- Current AHPRA registration (ideal but not essential).
