About the Role

The Animal Care Technician supports the Animal Care Education Team and Portfolio, assisting in maintaining a safe workplace. Responsibilities include keeping all tools, equipment, training aids,



and animal‑care surgeries and reception areas in a serviceable condition; purchasing equipment; liaising with contractors; and carrying out general maintenance.

Job Requirements

Applicants will be assessed on skills, experience, and attributes relevant to the role. Candidates must possess current and valid Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or an appropriate working visa); visa sponsorship is not available. Applicants must also hold or be able to obtain a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and a Working with Children (WWC) Card. Appointment will be subject to satisfactory completion of mandatory pre‑employment screening.
