Job Description
As a Venue Assistant, you will be part of MicDrop within CreativeCubes.co, the brand responsible for offering events within the business, designed to inspire, connect, and create impact. From strategy sessions and team off‑sites to panel discussions and product launches, our venues are known for their contemporary design, functionality, and seamless experience.

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Venue Assistants to join our casual pool. This role plays a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of events by providing on‑site support and acting as the primary liaison between the client and the venue during event operations. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with a strong customer service mindset, excellent communication skills, and an interest in events and AV/technology support.
- Act as the on‑site point of contact for clients throughout their event.
- Assist with AV and technical setup (e.g., microphones, video conferencing, speaker volume).
- Support coffee set‑ups and catering.
- Ensure event spaces are clean, presentable,
and configured to client specifications.
- Provide responsive and skilled support during events, including troubleshooting minor issues.
- Willingness to support the onsite staff who run the coworking centres.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and venue guidelines.
- Role may occasionally require lifting or moving items as part of event setup and pack‑down.

- Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
- Open availability to weekday and weekend work.

- Confident with basic AV/technology or willing to learn.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
- Professional presentation and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, hospitality, or events is preferred, but not required.
