Role Description
Tutors at Tutor99 provide one-on-one and small-group instruction to students in designated subject areas through online sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, explaining concepts clearly, guiding students through practice problems, and offering constructive feedback to support progress. Tutors are expected to track student performance, adjust teaching strategies based on individual needs, and maintain accurate records of sessions and learning goals. This is a full-time remote role, requiring reliable online presence, qualified communication with students and families,



and collaboration with the Tutor99 team to ensure consistent quality and adherence to platform standards.

Qualifications Strong subject-matter expertise in one or more academic areas (e.g., math, science, language arts, test preparation) and the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, accessible way.Demonstrated skills in online teaching or tutoring, including familiarity with virtual classrooms, video conferencing tools, and digital learning resources.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, motivate learners, and adapt teaching style to different learning preferences.Organizational and time-management abilities to plan lessons, manage schedules, and maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes.Experience working with diverse learners, including different age groups, cultural backgrounds, and learning needs; prior tutoring or classroom teaching experience is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree or ongoing enrollment in a relevant field of study is preferred, along with a commitment to educational equity, professionalism, and continuous improvement.A 95+ ATAR along with the highest Band in respective subject wanting to teach 1+ Years of Experience
