Position Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber, forward-thinking Accounts Receivable Manager to take full ownership of our receivables function during an exciting period of growth for the company. We aren't looking for someone to just "manage the books"; we need a strategic owner who views AR as a critical pillar of our financial health and is excited by the challenge of scaling a department in a quick-paced environment.

As we expand, your mission will be to lead our transition into a tech-forward, AI-driven department. Leveraging NetSuite as your primary tool, you will be responsible for eliminating manual bottlenecks, improving forecasting accuracy, and ensuring our end-to-end billing and collection processes are as seamless as the products we deliver. This is a role for a seasoned AR professional who wants to put their stamp on a growing organisation and lead the move from manual workflows to intelligent automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Departmental Ownership: Take full accountability for the AR lifecycle, including billing, credit management, collections, and cash application. You are the "driver" of this function.

- NetSuite Management: Serve as the functional expert for our NetSuite platform, maintaining rigorous data integrity and ensuring the system is fully leveraged to support high-accuracy financial reporting.

- Process Innovation: Lead the integration of AI and automation tools to enhance credit scoring, automate dunning communications, and improve cash flow prediction.

- Strategic Cash Flow: Proactively manage the steady inflow of funds to fuel company growth.



You will monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to keep our financial engine running at peak efficiency.

- Relationship Management: Resolve high-level billing disputes with empathy and professionalism, strengthening client relationships even during the collections process.

- Compliance: Maintain internal controls over the AR function to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS.

Required Qualifications

- AR Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

- NetSuite Mastery: Proven experience working within NetSuite. You must be comfortable navigating complex system workflows and optimising them for efficiency.

- Ownership Mindset: A track record of taking initiative and "owning" an area of finance, rather than just executing tasks.
