Lucas Dental Care is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team in Glen Iris, Victoria. This is a full-time position (36 hours over 4 days) that will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth running of our busy practice.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are available
- Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
- Greeting and welcoming patients, and providing exceptional customer service
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Attending General Anesthetics with our Paediatric Dentists throughout Melbourne
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 years' experience as a Dental Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing excellent patient care
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently
- A team-player attitude and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Australian work rights are required for this position
