Executive Assistant | Estates & Litigation | On-site FT
The best Legal Executive Assistants don't just manage diaries and documents. They become trusted partners, provide stability in busy practices, and create the seamless experience that allows lawyers to focus on what they do best.
This opportunity has arisen following the departure of a long-term career Executive Assistant and offers the chance to join a highly regarded law firm in a role that will genuinely value your experience and expertise.
Supporting a respected lawyer across both estate administration and estate litigation, you will become a key member of a busy and cooperative team where no two days look the same. You'll work closely with a lawyer known for their approachable nature, robust professional reputation and willingness to support those around them. While guidance is always available, this role is best suited to someone who can quickly understand context, anticipate needs and confidently take ownership of their work.
Unlike many legal support positions, you'll be joining an established estates team with a solid support structure already in place. Working alongside other experienced Executive Assistants and supported by junior administrative staff, you'll never feel like you're operating in isolation. Instead,
you'll be part of a team that genuinely works together to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.
The firm is specifically seeking an experienced Legal Executive Assistant, Legal Secretary or Legal Administrator who understands the pace and demands of a legal environment. While previous Estates experience is not essential, proven experience within a law firm is. You'll have a solid understanding of legal terminology, billing processes, document management, and the professional standards expected within legal practice.
This is not a role for someone looking to use administration as a pathway to becoming a lawyer. The team is seeking a career legal support professional who takes pride in being an expert in their field and enjoys the challenge and satisfaction that comes with providing exceptional support in a fast-moving practice.
If you're looking for a position where you'll be respected for your expertise, trusted with responsibility, and supported by genuinely great people, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, offering a salary of $85,000-$100,000 plus superannuation.
