Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our client's growing logistics and waste management business in the Shoalhaven.

This hands-on leadership role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the treatment facility and transport fleet, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operations while driving continuous improvement across the business. You'll enjoy genuine autonomy while leading a committed team within a well-established local business.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the daily operations of the treatment facility and transport fleet
- Coordinate workflows to maximise operational efficiency
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, policies and procedures
- Oversee inventory control and equipment maintenance schedules
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships




- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvements

About You

We're looking for someone who leads by example and can confidently manage both people and operations.

You will ideally have:

- Experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role
- Experience within logistics, transport, waste management, manufacturing or a related industry
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach and commitment to workplace safety

Essential Requirements

- Australian Driver's Licence
- Demonstrated experience managing operational teams
- Sound understanding of WHS legislation and best practice
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening (if required)
- Full Australian working rights
