Lead Lumia Care’s clinical governance, quality, risk and compliance frameworks, reporting directly to the CEO and partnering with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure safe, high-quality, person‑centred care across all service streams.

About The Role

This is a pivotal executive role responsible for providing organisation‑wide leadership across clinical governance, quality, compliance, risk and assurance. The Chief Clinical & Compliance Officer will strengthen systems, standards and oversight mechanisms that support safe, evidence‑based and compliant care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead clinical governance, nursing practice, clinical risk, quality and compliance across Lumia Care.
- Oversee accreditation, internal audit, incident, complaint and risk management frameworks.
- Monitor trends, emerging risks and systemic issues, driving root‑cause resolution and continuous improvement.
- Provide executive and Board‑level reporting on clinical quality, safety, workforce compliance and organisational risk.
- Strengthen clinical workforce capability, qualified standards, credentialling and scope of practice.
- Represent Lumia Care with regulators, accreditation bodies, healthcare providers and key external stakeholders.

About You

You are a strategic, values‑led executive or senior clinical governance leader with experience in health, aged care, disability or community services. You bring strong judgement,



commercial awareness and the ability to influence at Board, executive and operational levels.

- Senior leadership experience across clinical governance, quality, compliance, risk or organisational assurance.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, accreditation and professional standards.
- Experience leading audits, investigations, assurance programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing capability.
- A leadership style grounded in integrity, compassion, collaboration and accountability.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Healthcare, Health Management, Business or a related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification in health administration, business administration, governance, risk or related field is desirable.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is highly regarded.
- Relevant employment checks will be required, including police check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, right to work in Australia and other role‑specific compliance requirements.
