As Senior Mechanical Engineer you will play a lead role for product development activities across the screens and centrifuge product line lifecycle. The role is responsible for delivering current development projects to successful market launch while shaping the next generation of product technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the delivery of product development engineering projects from concept through to commercial launch.
- Support the execution of structured development activities aligned to lifecycle and commercial priorities.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Contribute to product strategy and execute the engineering roadmap to support business growth.
- Contribute to a high‑performing product development engineering team with transparent accountability and delivery focus.
- Drive strong cross‑functional alignment with product, operations, sales, and service teams.
- Ensure seamless transition from development into manufacturing and market release.
- Advance product standardisation and portfolio optimisation to reduce complexity and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering qualification with 10+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Ability to analyse and solve complex engineering problems through the application of advanced knowledge.
- Experience in the design and development of vibrating equipment,
including structural dynamics and fatigue design using first principles and FEA methods.
- Proficient in the use of ANSYS and SolidWorks.
- Proven experience in product development within an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of stage-gate product development processes and lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects.
- Experience in driving product standardisation and portfolio optimisation.
